Later in fall, the ranch is still magical, as we never quite know when we might catch sight of a passing elk herd or get our first sneak peek of winter. Much like in early October, in late October and November we can have sunny warm days, cooler damp days, or we might just get our first blanket of snow. New this year, from October 19 through December 1, we’ll be rolling out our A la Carte ranch stays. We’ll call this “Fall Wonderland,” as in…we wonder what the weather will be! For that reason, during this time, our all-inclusive package will move to an A La Carte stay, where your base rate includes accommodation, meals, house beer and wines, and shuttle service to and from Steamboat Springs. Daily activities will be offered based on weather conditions, and you’ll be charged per individual, so you can add as many, or as few, as you’d like.
Basically, we’ll turn into a bed and breakfast with added activities based on the weather. So, you might listen to leaves crunch under your horse’s hooves one day and the next go on a snowshoe adventure! We’ll also offer indoor options, such as a leatherworking workshop and wine tasting, or you might just want to relax and curl up in front of the fire or have a nice soak in your private hot tub. With 3-night minimums and a different rate structure, these ranch stays are an excellent time to plan a family gathering, corporate retreat, or even a small wedding or elopement.
Additionally, during the fall ranch stays is our Thanksgiving stay from November 27 to December 1. If you love spending time with friends and family but are not a fan of spending 12 hours in the kitchen, come join us for a ranch Thanksgiving with a special sumptuous feast on Thanksgiving day and no Black Friday crowds for miles!
